Paul Duncan is the Head of Operations for Mercantile & Maritime Group, where he oversees the Group’s global operations, project execution, and marine logistics across its trading and infrastructure portfolio. With more than 30 years of experience in the international oil, gas, and marine industries, he brings extensive expertise in large-scale terminal, storage, and offshore project delivery.
Before joining Mercantile & Maritime, Paul served as Marine Manager and Head of Strategic Projects at Dynatron FZE, managing major EPC and marine infrastructure projects across the Middle East and Africa, including the Duqm Refinery offshore terminal installation in Oman and the conversion of the MT Galea LNG carrier into an FSRU at COSCO Shipyard in Shanghai. Earlier, he led operations and trading across multiple continents in senior roles with Trafigura, Arcadia
Petroleum, and Petrol Ofisi, delivering projects that expanded global storage capacity and optimized energy supply chains.
He is recognized for his operational leadership, technical depth, and ability to deliver complex, multi-jurisdictional projects with precision, safety, and commercial discipline. Paul has worked extensively across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
