Dhruv Kapur is the Head of Shipping for Mercantile & Maritime, where he oversees global freight strategy, vessel management, and integrated logistics across the group’s trading and terminal operations. He brings over two decades of maritime and shipping expertise, combining strategic leadership with operational depth.
Previously, Dhruv established the gas and tanker freight desk at Fertistream freight in Dubai, managing ammonia and methanol trades with strong P&L performance. He spent more than a decade at Gulf Energy Maritime (ENOC Group), leading chartering, freight trading, and bunker procurement while expanding fleet performance across new geographies. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Navig8 in Singapore and Chemoil International in Singapore and the U.S., where he drove cost optimization, HSSE, and terminal operations.
He is recognized for building resilient shipping strategies that balance commercial growth with operational excellence and industry leadership.
