Amr Hamza is the Head of PR & Communications for Mercantile & Maritime Group, where he leads the Group’s global brand, marketing, and communications strategy across its trading, logistics, energy, and infrastructure operations. He brings extensive international experience across the energy, automotive, and industrial sectors, combining strategic vision with creative leadership to enhance corporate reputation, market positioning, and stakeholder engagement.
Before joining Mercantile & Maritime, Amr served as Head of Marketing & Communications for ENOC Commercial & International, where he established a centralized marketing and communications function supporting multiple business lines across 45 countries. He led the repositioning of ENOC’s international lubricants portfolio, developing integrated campaigns and strategic partnerships that elevated brand equity and advanced the Group’s commercial ambitions.
Previously, Amr held senior roles with Shell Lubricants and 3M, where he drove brand strategy, regional marketing, and corporate communications across various markets. At Shell, he led strategic marketing programs and co-branded partnerships that strengthened distributor networks and increased market share across key growth territories. At 3M, he managed cross-divisional marketing initiatives, product positioning, and brand-building programs that reinforced 3M’s leadership in industrial innovation and customer engagement across the Middle East and Africa.
He is recognized for developing cohesive brand ecosystems that align strategic marketing with business performance, fostering transformation, innovation, and measurable impact across global markets. Amr holds an MBA from the University of Wollongong in Dubai and a BSc in Aerospace Engineering from Cairo University.
